Some Tips that help me make the right decisions
*Making your meals with lots of vegetables and fruit in a variety of colors
*Eat a lot of high fiber food.
*Try to include fish in my diet 2-3 times a week
*Remove skin from the chicken and turkey before eating
*Reduce red meat and frequency
*include small amounts of healthy fats daily such olive and canola oil, nuts, seeds, avocado
*Choose low milk that is either 1% or 2%
*Drink water and sugar-free beverages
*Prepare meals from scratch as often as possible
*Eat out less often
*Limit sodium, saturated and trans fat
*Limit packaged and processed food
*Limit refined grains, sweets and sugars
*Limit alcohol consumption
*Always reading the labels
*Eat three meals per day at regular time
This biggest thing is to track your meals and activity with a journal or food tracker app so that in the future you can help yourself be accountable for your choices and positive changes as well if your having a hard time losing weight you can look back and see where you think you went wrong and make better choices in the future.
